Sunshine Grow Shop Southland is a family owned and operated local business. Having been born and raised in the Lexington area, we’ve had the privilege of serving the southside of Lexington for the past 17 years. The first 15 years at Zandale Shopping Center and the last 2 years at our new location on Southland Dr. We have one of best selections of annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, hanging baskets and containers in Lexington.

One of my first jobs as a teenager was working summers at Ellis Greenhouses in Georgetown, Ky delivering flowers and also at one of the first Grow Shops back in 1983. And now having the opportunity to operate a business of my own with my family has been a blessing!
One of the best parts of being a shop owner is, not only continuing to grow a love for plants, but for the people we have been able to meet and the friendships we have built over the years. It’s truly a humbling experience to do something you enjoy and at the same time, bring an enjoyable experience for our customers.
